Nigerian rapper and singer-songwriter Divine Ikubor, known mononymously as Rema has finally dropped his much anticipated album tagged “HEIS”.
The project ‘HEIS’ is the highly anticipated follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album, Rave & Roses. This album delves into darker, more somber themes, showcasing Rema’s willingness to experiment with new sounds and styles.
The lead singles, “BENIN BOYS” and “HEHEHE,” were teased on social media, sparking excitement and anticipation among fans. The official release date for “HEIS” was announced on July 8, the same day “HEHEHE,” was released. An accompanying animation, likely the album cover, added to the buzz surrounding the album’s launch.
The project consists of eleven impressive tracks and features the likes of Shallipopi and Odumodublvck. The production works were carried out by: Alex Lustig, Altims, CuBeatz, Deats, Klimperboy, London, P.Priime, Producer X and Take a Daytrip.
